Hoverboard- like the fictional one Marty McFly used in 1989’s “Back to the Future II”- is a new extreme sport that offers riders an experience that sits somewhere between surfing and flyboarding. It is designed by Franky Zapata, a French jet-ski champion and creator of the Flyboard and it uses a high-powered water jetback for propulsion. This futuristic sport can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h and heights up to 5 m above the water. According to Zapata with Hoverboard "you can do acrobatics, you can sit on it, and all of this hands free. You still can ride a Hoverboard even if there’s no wind". During the first days of September there was a hoverboard show near my hometown, in Agios Ioannis in Lefkada, Greece. Enjoy!
