Surf’s up! Beachgoers and wave riders come together on 20 June 2014 to celebrate the International Surfing Day. This annual, global event is held around the world to mark the beginning of the summer and celebrate surfing, surfing lifestyle and the sustainability of ocean resources. This special day has been a great way for people to attend free events and learn more about surfing, whether they are trying it for the first time or they are pros. There are more than 140 events taking place around the world. From surf lessons to concerts, beach clean-ups, surf contests, picnics, BBQs, surf films and SUP, wake ski and wakeboard demos there is plenty to keep everyone happy.
